This conference was attended by scientists, practitioners and policy makers from cross-disciplines concerned about the social nature of health, illness and its care among the people in the Asia-Pacific Region. There were 300 participants rom 13 countries taking part in the conference, including socia and health scientiss, NGOs, and health care providers.
