Survei PSKK UGM (2017) menunjukkan bahwa 38 persen praktik P2GP tetap dilakukan oleh tenaga medis, memperlihatkan bahwa regulasi formal tidak serta-merta mengubah praktik sosial yang telah berakar kuat. Di sisi lain, keberlanjutan P2GP tidak bisa dilepaskan dari realitas sosial-budaya masyarakat. Walaupun praktik ini telah dinyatakan tidak memiliki manfaat medis dan bahkan berisiko menimbulkan dampak kesehatan, P2GP tetap dipertahankan oleh berbagai komunitas.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a global multidimensional crisis, one of its impacts being the crisis on the informal economy. This paper presents a review of the effects of this pandemic on the informal economy, coupled with empirical evidence based on surveys conducted in Indonesia.
