The lack of awareness on gender equality and justice in the society reflects the lack of understanding of gender equality and justice among public figures. This results in high prevalence of women experiencing violence.

As a matter of fact, the awareness of gender equality and justice indirectly influences women empowerment and prevents women from various forms of violence. To accomplish it, increasing the awareness among social figures is urgently required.
