This book is a research summary conducted in North Sumatera, Yogyakarta Special Region, South Sulawesi and Papua. Violence against women could happen to different ethnics, classes, social levels and educational backgrounds. The violence against women has cultural roots in each area. Cultural aspects play a significant role in handling this problem. The victim's perception and response, as well as various attitudes in coping with this issue are an obstacle for an integrative treatment for the victims.
